We have moved the rally north to Wyoming for the first time in nine years.
We will circle the wagons at the fairgrounds in Laramie just like we did in Salida last year.
This has always been a very popular rally, and we have had to limit attendance in the last few years.
This year we think we have enough space available to open registration without a limit.

August 6-10, 2009

We plan to do it the way Wally did – dry camping on an open field – no hook-ups.
Water is available on-site for refilling your tank as is a dump station.

The 2009 RMVAC Planning Committee gathered over Memorial Day weekend at the rally site in Laramie to scout it out once again and put some finishing touches on the rally plans.  We are anticipating another great gathering at the Rockin' Wally-B Ranch,.

This year's rally is going to be as memorable as ever and we are looking forward to exploring Laramie and all that it has to offer.
If you are still thinking of joining us this year but haven't yet registered, please send in your registration form ASAP so we know you are coming and can plan accordingly.

Registration closes July 15th!

We aren't limited by number of attendees, however we do need a final count for catering count and other participant specific goodies.

Laramie is on a high plain between two mountain ranges, the Snowy Range, about 30 miles to the west,
and the Laramie Range, 7 miles to the east. The city's elevation above sea level is about 7,165 feet .
The Laramie River runs through Laramie toward its confluence with the North Platte River east of the Laramie Range.
Temperature will range from 45 to 80 degrees in August, and a thunderstorm could drop 1.25 inches of rain.
Porta-potties will be available for our use.
Kids and pets are welcome, but there will be no specific facilities, activities, or playgrounds.

This rally focuses on the care and feeding of vintage Airstream trailers, with lots of informative restoration seminars & hands-on workshops.
You don't have to own a vintage trailer to attend - just a vintage appreciation!

Bring your adventurous Wally spirit and chili to the Rocky Mountains – hope to see ya there.
